… or simply Dave, a 30+ year professional audio veteran with a diverse background in live-sound mixing, product development, sound design, industry education and advocation.

A seasoned sound designer for the Walt Disney Company, Dave created many memorable in park spectaculars and entertainment shows including, “Beauty and the Beast” (before going to Broadway), “Spirit of Pocahontas”, and “Hunchback of Notre Dame: Festival of Fools”.
As a former member of Yamaha Corporation’s Global Research & Development team, Dave’s insights and collaborations have resulted in dozens of new cutting-edge technologies and industry-defining products. His efforts were awarded an international Patent (I.P.O. # 10959020 · Issued Mar 23, 2021) for a creative use of audio technology.
A featured panelist and moderator at industry trade shows such as the Audio Engineering Society (AES) to National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) and MusikMesse | Pro Light & Sound (to name a few), Dave is professional audio education advocate and has created a variety of curriculums and taught audio seminars to high school and college bands, music educators and entertainment sound technicians around the U.S.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis in percussion performance, Dave is an accomplished drummer, percussionist, and music clinician, having played professionally throughout the southwestern United States.
